In 2021, under the E-Wins project, under the academic guidance of the Staffordshire University, we conducted a study in all partner countries on the economic and social security of women athletes. It turned out that very few females athletes know exactly what their labour rights are and how they will be compensated in case of pregnancy and disability.

Issues related to income, benefits and career development are undoubtebly part of the economic part of the E-WinS project. However, it also addresses the issue of motherhood and the educational needs of young athletes.
